9781797567396
Autobiography Volume 1: THE EVOLUTION OF THE SOUL FROM THE GREAT AMERICAN FOREST TO THE VATICAN COUNCIL
Madame Hyacinthe and her husband Père Hyacinthe Loyson were controversial religious figures in the late 19th and early 20th century. Their views would still be controversial today. The present scandals in the Roman Catholic church were forewarned by Madame Hyacinthe more than 100 years ago. She discusses the perversion and unnatural state of priests not being able to marry as well as the cloistering of nuns, and the heretical decision to declare the Pope infallible. They rose to celebrity status and were recognized around the world because of their religious views. This autobiography explores Madame Hyacinthe's Journey from birth until the 1870 Vatican council before her marriage to Père Hyacinthe. Her life stories start in a log cabin in Ohio and continue through her first marriage relocating to New York, and then journeys to Europe to heal sickness and discover her religious calling. Madame Hyacinthe's long journey includes: questioning and searching for religious truth in her life, exposing the good and ugly of organized religion, the irrationality of racism and bigotry, the power of the female gender, true love both spiritual and earthly, natural beauty, and man's greatest sins, to name a few, and are eloquently told throughout. She questions the celibacy of priests, the unemotional protestant church services, as well as the perversion of Catholic doctrines, which creates conflicts in her quest to find the perfect religion for herself. She confronts her own racism and prejudices and discovers that they are not relevant in her life anymore. When you read this autobiography you will enjoy and learn about her voyage of discovery from frontier America to the "Old World" of Europe. She befriends many people from a Jewish rag picker to President Abraham Lincoln. Names like Liszt, Beecher, Lacordair, Longfellow, Pope Pius IX, Princes Julie Bonaparte, Lamartine, and many more, make her acquaintance. She was a published author in both major newspapers and in book form, and crusaded against religious conflicts between the Jewish, Muslim and Christian religions. The first part of her autobiography is the only one she was able to write since she passed in 1909 before finishing and publishing it. Please follow me, her great great grandson, and I will continue to write the rest of her and her future husband Père Hyacinthe ´s life together. The world has changed since she wrote this but it has also not changed in many ways. When you read this, this will become obvious. I would love to have feedback from readers on her fascinating life story.

| Author: Madame Hyacinthe Loyson, Peter Chase Wetherill

| Publisher: Independently published

| Publication Date: Mar 04, 2019

| Number of Pages: 370 pages

| Language: English

| Binding: Paperback

| ISBN-10: 179756739X

| ISBN-13: 9781797567396
