Anthology. The Mission of St Anthony

Over the years, the file containing my poetry grew fatter than a brood of cuckoo chicks. I decided it was time to shove them out the nest and let them fly, or, more likely, flop onto the floor and die of neglect, so I shoveled them, into this anthology. There's all sorts of stuff mixed up in here- love poems, anti-war poems, political stuff, blasphemy, poetry from work, nature, life the universe, Whitsand Bay, small snapshots of friends, living and dead, and just plain filth and nonsense. Quite a few poems are suitable for writing on small bits of paper and inserting in Christmas crackers. Feel free to do this. I've emptied the bin onto the table and you can take your pick. Treat the book like a lucky dip bucket, dunk into when you feel like it and see what you get. The volume would sit well on a shelf by the toilet.
