Unlike characters and seasons that may appear ephemeral, every detail of this collection of poetry confirms in a real and personal way, the popular Yoruba adage that 'Bibire ko se fi owo ra', meaning that, Adejare's wife-to-be is morality personified, humble and invaluable. Anyone reading Bibire for the first time will have no doubt that it represents the setting of a great romance. That is the accomplishment of this book. I have personally enjoyed the book and will also recommend it to anyone who likes a curious mixture of nonfiction and romantic love. - Ms. Sola Arobieke
