Amy Saves a Forest: How a Brave Girl Saves Some Magnificent Ancient Gums

Amy is an only child, living on the edge of a magnificent forest in East Gippsland, Victoria, Australia. She is eleven years old and used to exploring the forest on her own whenever she wanted. Her forest friends were native animals; an echidna, wombat, kangaroos, wallabies and the wedge tailed eagles.Since the Covid-19 lockdown, Amy had been home schooling, and sharing her forest environment with her close neighbours, Victoria and Emma. The three girls often walked through the forest and tried to imitate all the sounds of the bush. Loud noises were heard in the forest one day and the girls had to find out what was causing the animals to shelter in silence and fear.Amy embarks on a quest to discover what is happening to her forest and finds a level of courage and determination that she never knew she possessed.
