The story is about a young lawyer who wins his first big trial only to discover afterwards that his client is guilty. To make matters worse, he learns that the client, a pharmaceutical giant, is behind a conspiracy hurting millions of people, including his own family. On a trip to the Amazon rain forest he uncovers a secret that could destroy the pharmaceutical industry and change healthcare as we know it. But his rich and powerful client uses political influence to fight back. Our hero gets help from an unexpected source and wins the first great battle in Washington DC. The pharmaceutical company has developed a virus...a devastating bio-weapon of mass destruction that they intend to use against civilian populations.
