Some of these sayings are the way older people expressed common sayings. It's a funny way of telling the truth. About the Author Mary Dickens lives in the small city of Quanah, Texas. In her church, she serves as the church elect, Sunday school superintendent, and soon-to-be ordained deaconess. She is the mother of three wonderful children and ten grandchildren. Mary is the eighth of ten children; she has seven brothers and two sisters. Three of her brothers are deceased, and she misses them very much. Mary was the caregiver for her mother for thirty-two years and had the opportunity to get acquainted with eight of her close senior family members. Mary also has a degree in data processing, and she is a retired letter carrier of over twenty-nine years.
