I was born in the early 1960's. The was a radically new approach to health available in the Puget Sound region at that time. I was one of the first 51,000 people to become a member of Group Health Cooperative of Puget Sound. Although it was actually my parents that registered me at my birth as a member; it would shape my view of health care and to a certain extent life.
