The emphasis of this survival guide is the practical training and the provision of tools to help translators and interpreters to develop their skills to a high level and learn about the professional environments. the TOTFinder series originates in my own work as a professional translator since the late 1980s. My project is to build on my own personal experience as a translator and interpreter to guide translators-to-be in finding a path into the profession.
