Love Letters to My Son

Isaiah Young, On April 6, 1999, my whole life changed for the better. It was the day you were born, and I swore that day that I would not just be your daddy, but your father. There is a difference, and as I found out, it is a never-ending job. Back then, when you were born, I thought I was equipped and ready. But as you'll find out in this book, I wasn't totally. You see, I wasn't taught about money--not even the basics. School doesn't teach about money, and in most cases, the parents are too busy trying to earn a living to teach it. Well, through countless hours of devoting myself to finance videos, books, seminars, and talking one-on-one with financial experts (to include folks with financial hardships because they are experts, too, on what no to do), I've comprised a few financial ideas and tips just for you. And life's lessons as well. Why all this? Simple! Because I love you. If only I had known these things as a "younger" man, I would have done much better.
