In 1977 Head Coach Jimmy Gabriel made him the team captain and that season he lead the team to the Soccer Bowl Final in Portland. In 2017 Adrian returned to Seattle, home of the MLS Champions where he was awarded the Golden Scarf for his contribution to Soccer in the Great Northwest.
