By The Sword: Book Four of the EMP Series

Six long years following the EMP attack and the bombs, the nuclear winter has subsided. The few survivors remaining at Yucca Mountain finally emerge to rebuild a civil society. They soon find that they are still at war with jihadist extremes seeking to establish an Islamic caliphate. The jihadists attempt to take control of the Hoover Dam, and Colorado River is defeated by the survivors, making Yucca Mountain a target that the Jihadists must destroy. The survivors realize that to survive they must live by the sword. They team up with an Israeli network engaged in tracking the Jihad's movements and field a preemptive strike against the caliphate. In the process, the strike rescues a band of Mayan farmers enslaved by the caliphate.
