This is a poetry book with a focus upon the transitory and diverse experience of life including the experience of persecution endured by the ancient Ezedi people of northern Iraq. The poems are accessible and impressionistic, emphasising how subjective our experience of life's passing shadows truly is (figures we half perceive and half create).
