Botts's Dots (Who Invented That?)

This is the story of how Dr. Elbert Dysart Botts made drivers and highway workers safer. He and his team developed the markers known as Botts Dots. These little round white bumps, laid out in rows, made it easier for drivers to stay within their lanes, especially at night or in rainy weather, or when sleepy or distracted.
