Living with Asperger's and anxiety issues has given Hope a heightened awareness of her senses. When music is added to an environment she is already hyper-aware of, it creates a full-body reaction and a mental escape, sometimes for better and sometimes for worse. The major chapters in her life story are ones she remembers because of the music that was playing at the time, either in her head or externally. From songs and experiences that made her feel physically ill to songs that gave her the sensation of flying, these stories would not be comprehensive without music.
