It is known that this cat's appearance is due to a dominant trait, that of curly hair (even to the whiskers).The Poddle Cat has a very thick dense curly coat of three layers. This cat is often shown for its unusual appearance, and sometimes its thought of as a cat in a sheep's clothing.It is only recently that the Poddle cat has been known as a distinct breed.
