Being born that way and growing up, from childhood to adulthood I am constantly reminded that it is not as common as we think. Also at the table, time to eat, people can not grasp the fact, and it becomes an issue, or known to all around. You are immediately different from the crowd. This book has stories to enlighten who ever wants to know. Some parents might have a child that shows signs at a young age of this life of rejecting meat, but they do not have the skills to communicate it yet. It certainly does not mean they have and eating disorder, an extreme diet, or doing it for attention by any means as society would quickly suggest. If anything the art of battling ignorance and standing up for what you believe in can only lead to strength.
