When Cancer Found Me, It Found Me Already Healed

When you hear those words, "you have cancer" it's like a death sentence has been spoken over your life. A feeling of hopelessness and disbelief and then fear comes upon you. That is exactly what I felt, at first. Then I decided I was not going to give in to this disease, even though I was scared and didn't know what lied ahead of me. I was determined that I was not going to accept what this disease was trying to give me. This disease was not going to take what didn't belong to it - Me and my future! I was going to live and not die!
