I have been writing poetry since I'm 17 years old. I stopped writing for many years and began again about 10 years ago, at age 72. I had a garment business for many years over in Asia. I am married for over 40 years, and we have two daughters and 2 granddaughters. Where does creativity come from? For me, writing poetry comes from my heart and from my soul. It comes from my life. My passion for life's beauty demands a way for me to express myself. Writing is one form that supports fulfilling that self-expression. I always wanted to share life's events and circumstances and stories with others. At 82 years old, I still have a passion to keep writing poetry. If one person receives, pleasure from reading anything I write, that's rewarding for me.
