Addicted To A.A.

Maria has always had difficulties dealing with her father's alcoholism and subsequent abandonment. When a close friend ends up passed out drunk on a park bench one morning, Maria realizes she needs to step in and help her before things get worse. She is able to convince her friend to attend A.A. meetings but only by agreeing to attend them with her. What starts off as an attempt at solidarity ends up spiraling out of control and Maria is forced to deal with addictions of her own.
