Susan Shane Kimball was born in Granite Falls, Minnesota. Her father was a career army officer and she moved frequently within the United States and internationally in her formative years. Susan graduated from Rolla, Missouri high school and earned multiple college degrees with honors from Central Missouri State University and the University of Delaware. After her marriage, she continued to live in many places, including Delaware, Ohio, Indiana, Missouri, Kansas, Colorado, California, Hawaii and currently Bella Vista, Arkansas. Susan is a teacher and author, but takes her greatest pride in loving and supporting her family. Dinglesops and Thokeberries is dedicated to her grandsons Luke Ferretti and Jack Ferretti.
