Three Brief Stories

Three stories make up this little book, are stories that differ greatly but have in common a toast to rebirth and self-affirmation. Here is a small clue about each of them: In "May," a really short story, we will see that it is not only the plants that cling to the place where they are rooted. There are many reasons for a displacement and, whether the expectations that have made us undertake it or not, it is indisputable that something will have changed when returning from it. The axiom is fulfilled, to a great degree, in addition, for the group of friends who undertake "The trip." The threads of a story in which we know "Aunt Agnes" well, are the following: the inheritance that Elvira has to receive and the irrational, inexplicable and irrepressible reluctance, each time that she tries to take possession of it and that will be fully clarified by the revelations that Ernestina, his mother, confesses to him.
