Ever since I completed my secondary education and to a certain extent my tertiary education, I have learnt various life skills and lessons for my working life and day-to-day life that I really wish I had learnt at a much younger age. These lessons and skills are helpful in what is referred to commonly as the real world post-secondary and tertiary education. I could quite easily recite the periodic table and I knew how to solve numerous algebraic equations; however, I did not know basic life skills, such as how to manage my own money properly or how to lodge a tax return. As time goes by, I realise how little of what I learnt at school and during my younger years I actually use in day-to-day life. The inspiration and reasoning for writing this book is so that you can learn some of these skills or at least have a basic understanding to build upon.
