This authentic public house, with deep British roots, became the cathedral of Oregon's craft beer revolution, the publican its archbishop. This pub has been twinned for nearly three decades with the Prince of Wales, an historic London pub in the Borough of Merton. The story is a journey through time with people from two countries, primarily a summary of the individual oral histories of the principals, supplemented by research. In the main, it is about the pub's events and people, their history, their character and their motivations, which are the soul of this pub. The Brass is a story inspired by and based on the interviews of others who were involved in and had touched the life of the pub, to the best that their memories recalled.
