Cargo Runner is the story of Jude Pierce, who was in the Special Forces in Vietnam. The book is all about how his life changes when he returns to LA and how he lands a job as a Cargo Runner at Pan Am Airlines through his father's friend, Marvin, who is a union worker for the airlines.It is an action-packed love story that shows how Jude falls head over heels with a Flight Attendant, Patina Jones. Cargo Runner is based in the early 80s, where it was a norm to smuggle Cocaine from Colombia, to Miami and then to Los Angeles. One thing leads to another, while Jude is waiting for cargo to be off loaded from the Miami flight, to be driven to the Pan Am cargo warehouse, when one container falls off the palette, which turns out to be 200 kilos of Cocaine. Jude hating drugs, due to an overdose, killing one of his best friends. He decides to steel the 200 kilos to take it off the streets. He hides the cargo container behind a jet blast in the maintenance area with the help of his friend James who was with him in the Special Forces in Vietnam. Jude, like James had a hard time finding a job after Vietnam, so Jude got him a job with him at Pan Am Airlines.By doing so, Jude Pierce has actually enraged the Columbian Medellin Cartel and The Romano Mafia Crime Family that controlled the shipping docks in Long Beach and Los Angeles. The Columbians are searching for their 200 kilos of Cocaine when they found out it was the Cargo Runner, ALL HELL BROKE LOSE!
