This is the 3rd and final story of the Bria Twon series. In the 1st book, The Chronicles of Bria Twon, readers were introduced to protagonist Sabria Twon. Bria is the mother of three children from three past relationships. It began with a story of a single mother dealing with hurt, shame, and embarrassment from past relationship drama. The 2nd book, Hey You, What About Me, Bria Twon, chronicles Bria's evolution from insecurity to confidence. At this stage, Bria has realized there's only one person's opinion whose mattered the most and damn what anybody else thought. In Who Told You Family Was Perfect, we see a matured Bria Twon at sixty years old, she is unapologetically living out loud. Bria, and girlfriends, Harmony, Connie, and Zuni take the trip of a lifetime to South Africa and life never felt better. And just like that, when Bria thought she had it all figured out, life comes to a screeching halt, the world shuts down and they are faced with what's called a pandemic. The story is realistic, relatable, and filled with humor. Bria shares firsthand glimpses into how she and her adult kids, Zach, India, and Shea navigate through their new normal.
