Gary is one of those "bi-coastal" beings - raised in Philadelphia before moving to the San Francisco Bay Area several years ago. His early career was in advertising, first in Philadelphia and then in New York City. A chance encounter with a few books pertaining to Eastern Philosophy altered his life path significantly. Being drawn to the teachings of both Buddhism and Taoism, his thirst for more knowledge led him to San Francisco - known for its diversity in thinking and lifestyles. With little hesitation, he moved to the Bay Area continuing his vocation in advertising but also exploring the philosophies so attractive to him.
