Icy Passage

Stranded and alone in the wilderness, Alexi must find his way back to his father and his home in New Archangel, the capital of Russian Alaska. Along the way he must survive the wild animals, the harsh Alaskan winter and the fierce Kolosh people whose homeland he has entered. Set in the early part of the 19th century, Icy Passage chronicles the adventures of young Alexi and the journey he makes toward his home and becoming a young man.
