Star Brigade: Resurgent

In the year 2403, Earth's former inhabitants are now a leading species in the Galactic Union of Planetary Republics. This star-spanning government, a bastion for peace and interspecies diversity, represents over eighty-five memberworlds and hundreds of sentient races. But when the Galactic Union is faced with terrorist threats of extraordinary origins, one of their primary military weapons is the Strategic Assault & Reconnaissance Brigade -- Star Brigade -- a special operations unit dedicated to terminating such threats quickly and quietly. Unfortunately, Star Brigade's reputation has been tarnished and its operations left in limbo after a past mission went tragically wrong, resulting in the deaths of several operatives. The mission's field commander, Captain Habraum Nwosu, blamed himself and went on indefinite sabbatical. But on the eve of the largest trade merger in galactic history, an old enemy returns with a murderous vendetta that could bring the Galactic Union to its knees. Nwosu must rejoin Star Brigade and lead its remaining operatives back into action in order for the Galactic Union to have any chance at survival.
