Story about a writer who's working a "day job" as anightscoper for a court-reporting firm in a large cityin the USA, commuting long distances between the cityand a backwoods home where he lives with his longtime"zen wife" (they're not married). While researching amajor writing project the writer hits on an exciting newway of fictionizing which he dubs jyze. At about thesame time a crisis arises over the nightscoping job andthe writer finds himself deploying jyze as a way of bothdescribing the crisis and coping with it, as jyze itselfmutates into a form of autofiction. The result is"Jyzeburst," which turns out to be the first volume ofAnnals of The Jyze Age. This larger work -- in sevenvolumes which also stand alone as novels -- covers apersonally tumultuous ten-year period in the life of thewriter, a/k/a Jyzer G, and could well be subtitled TheMultifarious Consequences of Jyze.
