Mysterious stomach pains caused local GP, Godfrey Haywood, to spend his first ever stay in hospital. A notoriously grumpy individual, he was often rude to his own patients and hated being in a NHS bed. All Arthur Ramsbottom wanted to do was cheer Godfrey and be friendly. How he had his work cut out.
