Pulling Triggers And Pushing Daisies

The title pulling triggers and pushing daisies, comes from two aspects of my life. One comes from a question: What's deadlier a gun or a thought that pulls the trigger? The second from a euphemism that simply means that a dead decomposing body is in a way allowing daisies to bloom. In other words, it symbolizes death. In my last book "The Monsters That Love Conquered", I had a simi-lar tone of death and killing things off, but I guess in my mind I'm just find-ing new ways to say the same things. But as I get older the meaning of love for me changes and the things I used to hold on to become more distant.
