This booklet discusses 'evangelical love', the only form of love that we humans should exchange with each other following the teachings of Jesus of Nazareth, as recorded in the Gospels. It is pure and genuine love, permeated with charity, compassion and mercy, which is free from any trace of possessiveness, selfishness, resentment, rancour, envy, jealousy and other negative feelings. In comparison, all other forms of affection seem phoney, shabby and steeped in hypocrisy.
