Joshua, The Boy Who Saved The World

This is an action adventure story in which a fourteen year old boy, Joshua, finds out that the Earth is going to be destroyed by a comet within a few weeks. He escapes from England to the USA, by hiding on a ship and: with a little help from his uncle, The Prof, and a friend, Bartek, who works for NASA, plus some hindrance from the sinister organisation 'ARK' who are trying to stop him, Joshua bravely manages to save the Earth.
