From the year 2000, this series covers one humanitarian's work in the USA to Afghanistan, India, Iraq, Japan, Jordan, and beyond. Charlie's education includes conversations with gang members, orphans, refugees, Presidents, Prime Ministers, and encounters with the Taliban. She begins to see the pervasive corruption within humanitarian aid organizations, contributing towards the destabilization of otherwise peaceful regions. Yet her experiences would help her rediscover her faith; and her intuitive gifts would assist in her journey. As a global war with Islam simmers, tribal elders, sufis, would welcome her into their fold, one of a small group of non-muslims working to bring peace in regions the mightiest of world powers failed to conquer. *A portion of the sales of each book/short story will go towards genuine peace-building initiatives (including projects for women and children) that the author has personally vetted.
