In the winter years of my life, and at 90 years of age, I am writing and illustrating my second book- CAT TALES KITTY CAPERS AND MORE. Part One of the book is a story of Ruth and the feline family of four that she adopted, or did they adopt her? The story evolved from her weekly letters to me and her daily journals. Her feline family filled the senior years of her life with adventure and love. It began when a half-starved stray cat came to her door. Against her better judgment she fed "him" and fell in love with not "him" but a very pregnant "her." Ruth named her Lady and was very disappointed when she disappeared. However, she was only gone for a few days when she returned bringing a gift, a tiny blue-grey kitten that she dropped at Ruth's feet. She would leave, but come back every day to feed her baby. It was a week later before she brought the second baby, then the third and the fourth.
