Aisling Smith is a fairly normal young Witch. She lives in Ashbrook village with her beloved aunts, frequently practicing her crafts while fitting in seamlessly with the human inhabitants of the village. When her Aunts move her to Thorneside City, the largest magical run community in Britain, her life takes several unexpected turns. One such Witch is Drake Taros, son of Mathir Taros, King of all things magical, the Under-realms. Aisling begins to break down the lies that have been built up around her all her life, and unravels the secrets of her past, present and future.
