Book contains poems that rhyme and tell little stories about pets and other animals encountered by author. There are a few photographs of some of the pets in the book. Photograph on cover is of author's first inspirations when she began writing these poems. The dog is Atlas and a poem, "Old Atlas" about him, was published in Grit Newspaper. The baby is Jordan who inspired the poem, "Laments of an Old Cat", which was published by both "Cat's Magazine" and "The Morris Report". Some poems have previously been published in magazines. Others are new, and this is their first publication. These poems were written to entertain readers.
