Macbeth: First Folio Edition

The Thane of Fife has risen up in rebellion against Duncan, King of Scotland, and a Thane named Macbeth defeats the rebellious army against steep odds. As Macbeth returns home from the battle, three weird sisters confront him and tell him that he is destined to be the new Thane of Fife, and also that he will become King of Scotland. Heady with victory, Macbeth sends a letter to his wife, telling her this prediction. As chance has it, King Duncan chooses to visit Macbeth's castle that night, and Macbeth's wife is wild with ambition. She tells her husband that fate has delivered the King into their hands. She wants him to murder the King and take the crown. Will Macbeth listen to his wife's urging, or will his conscience prevail?
