This is the first book of poetry by Rosalyn Stevenson. It includes 22 poems that were written over a period of about two years and have been combined into two sections: A Willing Enchantment and Preventing the Ice Age. The pieces in "A Willing Enchantment" are influenced by the metaphysical and spiritual study and practice of the author, though each one came through spontaneously and in inspired fashion. The pieces in "Preventing the Ice Age" seem to have come more from the author's contemporary artist viewpoint. The works in "A Willing Enchantment" lend themselves best to reading out loud, perhaps. The piece titled: "Fill the Well" is written to be a short play.
