I Cried Last Night: Sharing A Loss

Great loss comes only after great love. The author shares his feelings of loss in the hope that others might find the strength to allow themselves to experience those same feelings as they try to deal with their own loss. He admits that no one really understands what he feels until he shares what is troubling him with another human being. In doing so, he becomes aware that we all share similar experiences that we have difficulty facing and dealing with. However, it is only when we acknowledge and express our feelings to another person that we become more fully human. In this way, we are again capable of letting that love within our hearts to blossom.
