An Analysis Of The Effect Of The Economic Success Of The Bric Nations: On The Quad Nations And Union Between Two Time Periods: 1991-2003 And 2004-2014.

This study is an analysis of the GDP, GNI, export, and import performance of the BRIC nations and the Quad nations and union between the 1991 to 2002 time period and the 2003 to 2014 time period. The hypothesis that the economic performance of the BRIC nations has negatively impacted the economic growth of the Quad nations and union between the 1991 to 2002 time period and the 2003 to 2014 time period was not found to be conclusively true because the Quad nations and union did well on all performance measures in the two time periods analyzed with the exception of the annual GDP mean performance. The BRIC nations, however, did outperform the Quad nations and union all economic measurements in this study as a group, which shows that, despite their higher annual GDP mean performance and the annual GNI mean performance, they have increased their exports and imports at a higher percentage than the Quad nations and union over the two periods measured.
