Nara Tiv, age 10, may have just been directed by fate into her love's arms. After falling into a cute boy named Rob while skiing in Vermont, Nara cannot seem to get her mind off of him. Nevertheless, as winter break comes to a close, Nara must go back to school and face another dreaded six months studying one of her least favorite subjects: writing. As she struggles to make sense of what she is doing, Nara also continues to compete with her arch-nemesis, Amy, who does not make things any easier for her.
