Rising & Wising: The Ascent To Meaning And Enlightenment

The true challenge in human relations will be to convert the culture of competition against each other into one of cooperation with each other. That will require open, honest communication and trust, along with a good deal of wisdom. Rising & Wising is a book related to my years of teaching Effective Human Relations within the federal prisons, and is centered on a graphic model that I developed and that I call the 'Wise-up Model' which I used to teach that particular class. Teaching that class further inspired me to write this book so as to share this unique educational experience and its self-improvement concepts with others. The assertion of the book is that true wisdom, meaning, and enlightenment will never be reached from any extremist economic, political, or religious positions, and that centered education is the key to society achieving lasting peace and overall prosperity.
