This book is about the events which took place in December 1989 in Romania and they received the name of Romanian Revolution. There were several opinions about what actually happened that days. Some said it was a coup , some said it was a people's revolution. As usually the truth is somehow in the middle, so we can say it was a mixture of revolution and a coup. This book , put in classic form of a theater play, is based on the declarations of eyewitnesses, of people who really took part in the events, most of them nowadays already dead(!?). The play is focused on the actions of the dictatorial couple, Nicolae Ceaushescu and his wife Elena, their fear when the revolution started in Timishoara, the desperate measures they took in order to avoid the disaster, their run away from their palace and finally their trial and execution on Christmas day. At the same time it can be observed the transformation of some of their "comrades" from obedient servants in ruthless executioners. The play can be put on a stage in a classic way or can be the basis of a movie script.
