Jon's Story

Your Jonathan is useless; he'll never be any good! A teacher's remarks, when Jon was only five! I have written this from the heart with my emotions which will differ from other people. Despair, life's warts and all plus great happiness, it is all in here to read. My middle child brings sadness, heartache and struggle as well as 100% unconditional love and much joy. I struggled for over twenty years with my emotions and social services to find the best life for our son. In years gone by, people had been locked away if they were different. Of course today we have so many more choices to offer but finding them is not always that easy. And when they are found there is always the problem of funding. There will never be a quiet moment in my life because I just never know what Jon will do next!
