However, thanks to his servant Jared and Jared's daughter, Nicodemus finds his courage and his true self. He rushes back to Jerusalem-but is too late to save Jesus. Yet, in many ways, his fantastic journey transforms him into a new person-a better Nicodemus-born again through the redemptive power of Jesus on the Cross.
