A book of poems, some previously published, some not, from a lifetime of engaging with this most difficult language art for the love and challenge of it. My life's work has been writing for magazines. Poetry was something I wrote when I could, when I had to, when an idea came to me that could only be a poem. Among the many failures, these are the ones I wanted to preserve.
