Nobody Owes You Anything: Rejection That Fuels My Determination

Nobody Owes You Anything is an Autobiographical, semi-sequential account of life growing up as an inner-city youth chasing dreams in the midst of crime, drugs and poverty all while utilizing sports as the vehicle to make it out. Strong in faith and family, yet weak in critical thinking and proper preparation, many obstacles became present; some self inflicted. After making it out, gaining knowledge and experiences that enhanced his perspective, that'll also enhance the lives of those in his native community of young people growing up with similar struggles, he returns with hopes of sharing those things, being a difference maker and role model. Although he served in many capacities on the ground level, planting and nurturing seeds of young minds, professional elevation wasn't in the forecast due to rejection after rejection. Tough decisions had to be made.
