The Angel And The Hurricane

As the hurricane reaches full strength, Josh is troubled. Driving the Philips' vehicle for the first time he has faithfully followed the directions provided by Mr. Philips. Now it seems the man's poor night vision may be the least of his problems. Mr. Philips is disoriented. He has no idea where they are. Even so he is directing as if he knows the roads like the back of his hand. Josh realizes they are going in circles as he reaches a point where there are two options. He takes the only one that he hasn't tried twice before as the storm makes it increasingly difficult to control the car. Josh tries valiantly to protect Mr. Philips, his daughter Amy and her two friends Ruth and Paula from the storm. His responsibilities increase when an EMT sends his passenger with them away from a crash site. Their story of how they cope with the hurricane and its aftermath is an inspirational tale for teens.
