A one-act play for three women. Grace and her sister Mary are headed to prison on Tanglewood Island, but upon arriving, they find that the island seems more like a paradise than a prison. Grace soon befriends Elinor, who has happily lived on Tanglewood Island for ten years. Grace wants to be like Elinor and adapt to the island, but Mary is determined to build a boat and escape.
